Job Summary: 

Ericsson Indonesia is growing! As a result, we are now looking for NOC Front Office Engineer. The 1st Level Operations team is the initial functional escalation point for all detected incidents in the Customer's environment and engages the appropriate personnel/team within agreed response times. For critical (and optionally for major) incidents, this person will initiate and support the Incident Management function.

 

This role is responsible for the initial incident analysis and for the application of known error or incident workarounds or solutions (according to detailed procedures by 2nd Level Operations).

 

The successful candidate will need to have a good technical understanding of the core domain & network. Previous technical experience, network knowledge and background in multi-vendor environments will help ensure success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and improvements to procedures and routines within the department / group
  • Network monitoring activities i.e. monitor network related alarm
  • Restore service to a normal operational level as quickly as possible and minimize the adverse impact on customer's operations, thus ensuring that the agreed SLAs are maintained
  • Act on relevant problems reported from the call center so that resource problems are remedied or advanced to corresponding system support units
  • End to end responsibility for the incident ticket lifecycle, including notification and status reporting
  • Follow organisational guidelines around: Event management; Incident management; Remote site access control; Legal request execution; Billing operations; Assurance support activities
  • Act as a technical domain expert within the Shift Teams and assist the NOC Manager and Supervisor with driving service delivery execution

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant Telco tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Ideally 3 years’ experience in a relevant technical role (RAN or CORE)
  • Broad knowledge of Telecommunication Network environment and infrastructure
  • Customer and market insight and superb communication & negotiation skills
  • Proactive working attitude
