External Description:
Responsibilities:
- Build and improve procedures and routines within the department / group
- Network monitoring activities i.e. monitor network related alarm
- Restore service to a normal operational level as quickly as possible and minimize the adverse impact on customer's operations, ensuring that the agreed SLAs are maintained.
- Act on relevant problems reported from the call center so that resource problems are remedied or advanced to corresponding system support units.
- End to end responsibility for the incident ticket lifecycle including its notification and status reporting.
- Follow organisational guidelines around: Event management; Incident management; Remote site access control; Legal request execution; Billing operations; Assurance support activities
- Support internal and external critical issue management
- Assist the NOC Manager and Supervisor with driving service delivery execution
- Contribute to a productive work environment for the broader team
Key Qualifications:
- Relevant Telco tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience
- Ideally 5 years’ experience in a relevant technical role (RAN or CORE)
- Broad knowledge of Telecommunication Network environment and infrastructure
- Customer and market insight and superb communication & negotiation skills
- Proactive working attitude
