Looking for Store Officers who have at least 2 years of experience in shipping and warehouse procedures to join an established aviation player in Asia Pacific, with more than 30 years of presence in the region.
The responsibilities includes :
- Ensuring good house-keeping practices and safety procedures are observed in shipping department
- Coordinating with other sections on matters related to shipments and suppliers details
- Complying with all sectional procedures and airworthiness requirements and ensure the smooth running of the section
- Ensuring all critical and non-critical shipments are processed in a timely manner
- Performing general shipping duties such as preparation of shipping invoice, updating ECCN classifications, packaging of “Dangerous Goods” and “Non-Dangerous Goods” and performing accountability checks on the physical parts
- Preparing shipping invoices and some knowledge in local import and export customs regulations
- Arranging engine pick-up and delivery with freight forwarders assigned either by customer or ESA (Customer Support / Purchasing department)
- Actively support and participate in cost reduction, ACE, CIT, DIVE, EHS and Continuous Improvement Projects and initiatives
- Trained to handle PIV such as electric fork-lift and electric stacker
- To carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor
